Kim Ives: UN Security Council

On Dec. 21, 2022, Kim Ives, the editor of Haiti Liberté, provided a briefing to the Security Council meeting about the situation in Haiti.

Mr. Ives alongside his colleague, journalist and filmmaker, Dan Cohen had investigated the fuel crisis, shipping traffic, hospitals, clinics, slums and wealthy neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince. He mentions miscommunication, misguidance and counter-productive measures that have occurred; especially after the sanctions passed in October last year. With over four decades of research, Kim Ives has always been vocal of the crisis in Haiti. The information in this video is rich in detail.
